Clínica Baía was founded in 2011, evolving from a project that had been in existence since 1996. Tânia Capinha, founder of Clínica Baía, began working as a dental assistant in 2008 and took over the leadership of this project in 2011.
Initially located next to the São Martinho do Porto train station, in 2017, it moved to its current location, providing an excellent space to receive our patients.
Clínica Baía currently has four dental offices equipped with the latest technology. The clinic has 3D X-ray (CBCT) and 3D intraoral scanning, two of the latest technologies, which are essential for providing the best possible treatment to those who seek us out.
Specialties
Your smile is our specialty
Its purpose is to align teeth and correct the positioning of the jawbones. It can be performed on children (interceptive and corrective orthodontics) or adults with permanent teeth. Treatments include fixed appliances—metal or aesthetic—and clear aligners.
It aims to replace missing teeth with implants that function as artificial roots. After osseointegration, a crown is placed to restore chewing function. It can replace one or more teeth or even the entire jaw, using the All-on-4 system, with fixed prostheses on implants.
Specialty that ensures the treatment of lesions caused by caries, trauma, or dental erosion. In most cases, the tooth is reconstructed using composite resin in the same shade as the tooth or ceramic inlays.
Better known as root canal treatment, this procedure is performed when tooth decay has already affected the pulp of the tooth (the area that gives it vitality and sensitivity) or when, due to other factors, the tooth has an apical lesion.
Specialty that aims to maintain teeth and adjacent tissues. It consists of removing tartar, which causes most gum problems, and dental pigment.
